Description
*The job.* The cut that holds up a renovation is rarely the easy one. It is the plunge into the middle of a panel, or the trim cut that has to sit flush against a surface, and it always seems to need a fresh blade just as the last one is spent. A pack of the same blade means the job keeps going on the same cut.
*What you're getting.* Five oscillating tool blades, all identical: 85 mm long and 44 mm wide. There is no mixed kit to sort through and no odd size in the pack, so every swap gives you the same cutting width and the same cutting depth as the blade before it.
*Size & reach.* Each blade is a plunge flush cut blade with a 44 mm (approx. 1-3/4 in) cutting width and a 42.8 mm (approx. 1-11/16 in) cutting depth. Measure before you buy: if the cut you need goes deeper than 42.8 mm, this blade will not reach it.
*Construction.* The blade is bi-metal, and its teeth are M42 with 8% cobalt – the cobalt alloy is in the teeth, not the whole blade. A titanium coating covers the whole blade. It is a surface coating, not the blade material. The blade body is black and the teeth are titanium in colour; that is a colour only, and the teeth themselves are M42 cobalt.
*Mount.* The shank is a quick-release type. Check your tool's blade mount before ordering: these blades are not compatible with Starlock tools or MM30, MM40, MM50.
*Price & shipping.* CAD 20.99 for the set of 5 blades – about CAD 4.20 per blade. Free shipping on orders over CAD 50, to all of Canada, with delivery in 2–5 business days. (Operator price and shipping policy — commercial, not truth.)
